My Approach
Do you often feel distracted or anxious? Do you find yourself constantly feeling like your work or life isn’t good enough, noticing repeating patterns, or feeling like you’re on autopilot without really understanding why? You’re not alone.
I take an eclectic approach, integrating attachment theory, psychodynamic principles, and family systems therapy, all while affirming your sensory experiences. No two people are the same, so we will work together in a safe, non-judgmental space to explore what’s happening for you, building a trusting relationship along the way.
I am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and incorporate this powerful technique into our sessions when appropriate.
My work is trauma-informed and sensitive, ensuring that your healing process is respectful and supportive.
Art Therapy
No art experience necessary for our sessions. It is the process, not the product.
We can be our own hardest critics, whether you’re a novice or an experienced artist. Sometimes, when you have a feeling and you don’t quite have the words, a doodle, an abstract collage, or a little clay creation can provide great ways to find meaning. Art is a powerful way to give words and meaning to that feeling. Art Therapy empowers your emotions and is deeply cathartic.
